Agreement to Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Steezy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Steezy regarding your use of the App and related services.
Description of Service
Steezy is a mobile application that provides:
- Automatic tracking of skiing and snowboarding sessions using GPS
- Performance statistics including speed, vertical feet, runs, and time
- Leaderboards and ranking systems
- Social features to connect with other users
- Premium features through Steezy Pro subscription
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in certain jurisdictions) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App.
Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
- Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
- Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Manipulate rankings or leaderboards through fraudulent means
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
User Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload. By posting content, you grant Steezy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the App.
You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have all necessary rights to share it.
Steezy Pro Subscription
Steezy Pro is a premium subscription service offering additional features. By subscribing:
- You authorize recurring charges to your payment method
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You can manage subscriptions through the App Store
- Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies
Intellectual Property
The App, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Steezy and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
Safety Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous activities. The App is designed for entertainment and tracking purposes only.
- Do not use the App in a way that distracts from your surroundings
- Always follow resort rules and safety guidelines
- Ski and ride within your ability level
- The App does not replace proper safety equipment or judgment
- We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents while using the App
GPS and Location Services
The App requires GPS access to function. You acknowledge that:
- GPS accuracy may vary based on conditions and device
- Statistics are estimates and may not be perfectly accurate
- Location tracking uses battery and data
- You can disable location services at any time, but core features will not work
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEEZY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steezy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
